Through collaborating with other like-minded companies Kalahari aims to develop a portfolio of a cash generative business that delivers fully integrated, indigenous gas to local industry and communities. Kalahari is currently working on the development of greenfield onshore and offshore projects with the aim of delivering gas to grid power, thermal and industrial power customers using safe, consistent, and scalable solutions. Through the direct and indirect employment of people within the region, investment in local communities and its development of industry expertise and infrastructure, Kalahari is committed to ensuring a long-term energy future for the SADC region, where demand for power remains high.
Kalahari Oil and Gas (Pty) Limited (“KALAHARI”) is a privately owned business with headquarters in Sandton, Johannesburg, the Republic of South Africa. Kalahari is owned 100% by the Maluleke Family, the head of which is Mr. Joseph Maluleke, the current CEO of the company. The Company was established to invest in fully integrated onshore and offshore oil and gas exploration, production, and distribution value chain opportunities in Africa and other markets.
